Dr Subish Palaian is an Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Ajman University, United Arab Emirates. He is also currently the coordinator for the office of experiential learning at his institution. He obtained his PhD from the University Sains Malaysia in 2010. His research experience is related mainly to pharmacovigilance and drug safety. Previously, he worked in two colleges in Nepal, in both academic and Chief Pharmacist positions. A pharmacist by profession, he has a keen interest in promoting rational use of medicines. He is also a fellow at the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, PSG-FAIMER Regional Institute, Coimbatore, India.
