Natalia Cebotarenco, PhD, is a physician and clinical pharmacologist and holds degrees from the Medical Academy ‘Ivan Sechenov’, Moscow, Russia. Natalia has been working in public health for twenty-five years. She is a regional specialist in the rational use of pharmaceuticals, formulary development, drug management, pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology and has been involved in establishing a framework of Medicines and Therapeutic Committees in Moldova. She is a founder and an Executive Director of the Moldovan-based Coalition for Rational and Safe Use of Medicines (CoRSUM) that is mainly active in the NIS countries. She has authored more than 70 book chapters and journal articles, focussed primarily on rational drug use.
