Register for a cultural tour

Three different half-day leisure programs – to explore the culture and nature of Chiang Mai – will be available for conference delegates on October 31, 2023 between 8:30 am  and 13:00 pm.

You can register to join one of the tours by selecting one of the options given at Chiang Mai Tour Registration. The price per person is US$102 – US$120.

Included in the tours are:

– Pick up from hotel pick up (private van)
– English-speaking tour guide
– Lunch (Thai food)
– Insurance (medical expense from accident 500,000 THB; death 1,000,000 THB)
– VAT and service fee

Tour 1: Temple city tour

– Visit Srisuphan Temple, known for its ornate silver designs and decor.

– Visit Chedi Luang Temple, original home of the Emerald Buddha statue.

– Take in the beauty of Phra Singh Temple or the Gold Temple.

– Take photos in front of the legendary Three Kings Monument.

– Explore the shops and local street markets around bustling Tha Phae Gate.

– Lunch (Thai food)

Tour 2: Doi Suthep tour

– Visit Khuba Srivichai monument area to offering alms giving to monks and novice.

– Visit Phra That Doi Suthep Temple, the best land mark in Chiangmai. See beautiful shiny golden pagodas, refresh your mind by the sound of the temple bells.

– Visit Palad Temple, secret jungle temple with waterfall. This temple does not have a big building but is classic Buddhist architecture, peaceful environment and quiet surrounding by the jungle, unforgettable fantastic morning life.

Tour 3: Cruise along Mae Ping river

Cruise along the Mae Ping river – the life line of Chiang Mai people.

– See folk-life and beautiful nature and places along the river.

– Visit  ‘Thai Farmer’s House’, a traditional Thai style farmhouse decorated with original Thai agricultural equipment, surrounded by local flora and botany.

– Visit  one of the city’s oldest temples, Lokmoli Temple; it is also known as the Wat Lok Moli and it houses one of the largest and most impressive chedis in Chiang Mai.
