Half-day academic site visits (including coffee break) will take place on October 31, 2023.
Three options are available, see below. Places are limited so pre-registration is required.
For each option, you will be picked up from the Kantary Hills hotel (or nearby location) at 08:30 am. Depending on the option you choose, you will be dropped off at the Kantary Hills hotel (or nearby location) at either 12:00 or 13:30 pm.
You can register to join one of the academic site visits by selecting one of the three options given at Academic Site Visit Program Registration.

9.00-10.00 Healthcare systems in Thailand/Systems for ensuring RDU in hospital (pharmacy staff and multidisciplinary team), plus a short hospital tour on the way to the meeting room, Q & A
10.00-10.30 Depart for Jed-Yod primary care unit (with coffee break)
10.30-11.30 Systems for improving RDU in communities (staff from Jed-Yod primary care unit and Nakornping hospital pharmacy). Systems & services at primary care for improving RDU, joint care from tertiary care hospital to primary care unit, Q & A
11.30-12:00 Return to hotel

9.30-10.00 MAP foundation, using various channels of communication (i.e. radio broadcast, social media, group discussion) to empower migrant workers from Burma for a healthy integration into Thai society.
10.00-10.30 Observing minority group shops and communities
10.30-12.00 Engaging, networking and empowering community health (Open discussion with MAP staff, Drug System Monitoring and Development Centre (DMDC) and migrant workers)
12.00-13.00 Lunch (included) supported by DMDC
13.00-13.30 Return to hotel
